  1. Great story Oakley! I like the way that you used lots of adjectives to describe your monster. I also like the way you used commas, full stops and capital letters. Ka pai! I wonder if the monster had a name?

  2. Hi Oakley ... I would love to read your writing as you sucked me right in with your amazing title, but I can't enlarge your work (I can only see 3 words per line over 3 lines). I can "arrow" up/down and "left/right", but then I lose track of what the thriller is about ... any chance of you suggesting how I might see your whole page ?
    PS: How is Maddox ?

  3. What a cool story Oakley I love how he was a nice monster at the end of it. Was a bit hard to read Miss Bayliss should be able to resize it for you. Keep up the great writing.

  4. Kia ora Oakley! A great piece of writing about one moment! I like the way you created suspense in your story by doing this as I was nervous about what was going to happen next? Looking forwards to seeing more of the wonderful work you are completing at home!

  5. Nice work Oakley, that sure was a great piece of writing. Even though I had to scroll left and right because of the way it has been uploaded, it just kept it more interesting and then the end was great, I love a happy ending. Keep up the amazing work and hopefully see you soon!

  6. Hello again Oakley !!! Some kind person has re-sized your work for me so now I can comment properly ! The writing was as good as I imagined it to be, especially with the title "It all started with a knock at the door". Great suspense - I was almost too scared to keep reading. I think hiding under the bed sheets was a clever thing to do, until you got super brave and decided to investigate ! I loved how you used punctuation throughout, as it helped me read your mahi as well as understand it better. Funny how we think of a Monster being a scary thing, when really, if we gave them half a chance, we can get to know them better and become friends. I also love "happy endings" ... can't wait to read your next piece of writing.
